Vote for: Allan Pope to the Board of Directors for the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce

My name is Allan Pope, and I am asking for your support regarding my re-election to the Board of Directors for the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce.

I’ve been a proud member of the Chamber since I started Keys Life Magazine in 2012, and I’ve seen firsthand the support we offer local businesses. I feel Judy, our fantastic director, and our board work very hard to help businesses, and with your vote, I would like to continue being part of that support.

Islamorada isn’t just a place where I work—it’s my home. I’m a Coral Shores graduate and a full-time resident. I am passionate about protecting our small-town feel, even as we continue to grow. I know how special our community is because, as a military kid, I have lived many, many places, but the love I felt in Islamorada in the ‘80s is why I came back 15 years ago and made Islamorada my home. Our community is always there for one another, especially in tough times, and I feel we also do a great job of supporting our local businesses. This is a foundation of our hometown that I would like to make sure we keep as a priority.

When I first started the magazine, I spent months talking to friends and local businesses, asking what our community needed from my publication. The answer was simple: we needed an affordable way to highlight our amazing local businesses and the people who make this community so special. We also needed the publication to be delivered to the community through direct mail and social media, not just in magazine racks. That’s what Keys Life Magazine has been doing for nearly 14 years.

Just like the magazine, the Chamber of Commerce is about helping our businesses, and our community succeed together.

As a business owner, I recognize how important it is for the Islamorada Chamber to provide those resources and connections.

Keys Life Magazine wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of this community and fellow businesses, and I am very appreciative of that. By serving another term on the Chamber board, I will do my best to continue helping local businesses and our local community thrive.
