Protecting Paradise Island Arms & Indoor Range

Jenny Hall’s 4E mission to Educate, Encourage, Empower, and Entertain is officially underway. Island Arms opened its doors earlier this year, and happy customers have been passing through ever since. People of all ages come together at the gun shop and shooting range to learn about gun safety and how to responsibly protect themselves. “Residents in the Keys live in paradise,” Jenny Hall explains, “but the real treasure are the lives we’ve built and the people we love. Learning how to protect those treasures and to live a peaceful life in paradise is what Island Arms is all about, which is why our slogan is Protecting Paradise.”

Spending most of her career traveling alone, Jenny understands the importance of feeling safe. She understands how being confident in the ability to protect oneself is both empowering and pacifying. That is why opening Island Arms was so appealing to her. As someone with no background in law enforcement or constant exposure to firearms, Jenny wanted it to be a place where anyone of any ability could feel welcome. No matter how out-of-element their a person may feel, the individual would leave with the confidence of an experienced gun owner.

At Island Arms, people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds learn how to safely protect themselves and those they love. The classes and training courses are designed for beginning shooters to veteran shooters. One law enforcement officer was so impressed with the thoroughness of the courses that she joined the team at Island Arms.

Lieutenant Liz Lyne has been in law enforcement for over 20 years. When she heard of the new gun shop and range opening, she decided to take some refresher courses. She signed up for the basic, intermediate, and advanced classes, learning something from each in addition to her decades of experience. “As an officer, I value gun safety more than anyone. Island Arms’ training exceeded my expectations of what people should receive with the huge responsibility of gun ownership,” Lieutenant Lyne explains. “I was so impressed by the quality of the content and the caliber of the instruction that I wanted to be a part of it.”

Lieutenant Lyne now teaches Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) courses and leads a newly launched shooting club for women. The club brings like-minded women together to improve their skills, build their confidence, and strengthen their bonds with other women. It’s just one example of the 4E mission at work. Another example is the Ti Outdoors’ Gunfighter Pro™ system. The simulation program is loaded with hundreds of real-life scenarios for CCW, home invasion, and Use of Force training. It’s a favorite among civilians and law enforcement officers alike.

“Just the other day, we had a multi-generational family walk in to train, ranging in age from 11 years old to 70,” Jenny Hall says. “It was good, wholesome fun in a very safe and positive environment. Everyone left with a better appreciation for what we do at Island Arms.” Jenny Hill credits much of the company’s instant success to her Store Manager, Augie Wampler, and his dedicated team. In addition to Augie and Lieutenant Lyne, the team consists of military veteran, Wade, and former police officer and EMT Zander, supported by the retail team and range safety officers Stephen and Jacob. Finally, Customer Service Manager Harry, will happily greet you at the door.

Island Arms provides all gear and equipment for its customers to safeguard themselves. Most importantly, the team offers wisdom and experience to guide its customers’ purchases, ensuring their individual needs are met. Labor Day weekend, Island Arms will host a special event with great deals for new and existing customers. As with every day since opening day, the team will be standing by to Educate, Encourage, Empower, and Entertain.
