Sponge Hunters at the History of Diving Museum

Soak up a dynamic new exhibit all about the sea sponge. Learn about the unique sea sponge, the surprising impact it has had on human history throughout Florida and the Caribbean, and the many people who sought these treasured animals. See artifacts used in the sponging industry of the 20th century, from Key West, to the Bahamas, to Tarpon Springs. Get ready to soak up some surprising sponge stories and learn about ongoing restoration efforts! Exhibits and Museum Store open daily 10am-5pm. Admission is under $20/ person.
