ISLAMORADA NATURE WALKS & TALKS

The goal of this series is to increase knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park by sharing with the community thru Nature Walks: also promoting responsible stewardship of our natural resources. These walks involve a brief discussion on the history of the Upper Keys, as well as plant, butterfly, and bird traits. Sturdy shoes, sunscreen, water and binoculars and/or camera ar recommended. $8 per class. 15 person maximum. Pre-Registration required, Call or stop in to the Founders Park Office to reserve your spot in the class! *Additional Park entrance fee: $2.50 (to be paid at State Park)
